Almost 10 years ago, after frustrating conversations with my previous boss about unfair pay practices, I decided that I would take control of my future. I realized that I would rather fail as a business owner knowing that I took a chance on myself, than to continue to be exploited by a broken hierarchical system. Fast forward to today, and I have built a practice that is bringing hope and healing to others in our community, is providing a stable and comfortable lifestyle for both my family and our staff, and is greatly exceeding what I could have merely imagined 10 years ago.
The secret is not so secret. The information on how to realize this dream of owning and establishing a profitable healthcare practice is out there for the taking. The downside is that you have to sift through countless ads offering no substantial information without putting up a credit card, hear pitches from desperate coaches who exaggerate their claims to pedal false promises on those desperate for financial freedom, join peer groups where opinion reigns and truth is scarce, or pay thousands of dollars to a consultant in a frustratingly long and drawn out process. Truthfully, most people who take the above paths will find themselves burned out before coming close to realizing their dream.

Darryl Brown
My name is Darryl and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist, Qualified Supervisor, and Certified Clinical Supervisor. I am also a commercially rated pilot and self-proclaimed aviation nerd. I have a deep and genuine passion for helping and guiding others. I feel accomplished when those I am working with achieve their goals. I grew up in a household where both my mother and father owned their own successful small businesses. I learned from an early age the power of relationship and how to conduct business in an ethical and client-centered way. I believe what I learned from my parent’s efforts in their small business has empowered me to be successful in my own small business ventures. As a teenager, I worked as a wakeboard coach and rode in local competitions. We had access to a top of the line wakeboard boat to train and ride behind but a very average truck to pull it to the events and competitions. Seeing an opportunity for marketing and partnership, I reached out to a local luxury SUV dealership to explore the possibility of a cross promotion. The marketing director at the dealership thought it was a great idea and a partnership was formed. I will never forget what he told me even as a teenager, “you are going to go a long way in the marketing business, my friend.” Little did I know how what I was learning then would so profoundly impact my own businesses as an adult. My strengths in business development are marketing, digital marketing, and business strategy.
Tara Brown
My name is Tara and I have been involved in healthcare administration and management for more than 20 years. About 10 years ago, I was overwhelmed working for a healthcare practice that required long hours and mediocre pay. I came to Darryl and shared that I was doing all this work for other practices and that I felt that with my knowledge and experience with insurance credentialing, contracting, billing, and my strengths in business and financial management that I should invest my skills into our practice and create an opportunity for ourselves. And that is where it all started. Darryl worked as a clinician and managed the business development and strategy and marketing while I managed the insurance credentialing, contracting, and business and financial management. Fast forward and we have built a practice that is not only providing healing for our community but is also providing financial freedom for ourselves and our employees. I genuinely have a passion for helping others. Aside from coaching business owners, I coach Krav Maga, and am a Certified Personal Trainer. Helping others is the core of who I am; and I am honored to help you to achieve your vision. My strengths in business development are insurance credentialing, contracting, and creating flows and processes that are efficient and cost effective.
